Classroom Update
Barrandhang (Kinder/Year 1)
Empathy involves actively grasping and sharing another person's feelings by imagining oneself in their situation, understanding their viewpoint and emotions. Sympathy, on the other hand, means recognising someone else’s emotions but from your own perspective. While you can show compassion and concern, you might not fully feel or relate to their emotions or experiences.
An activity was sent home with all students for families to have a go at – please share with us how you go with this activity.
We have also been talking about how important homework is and students that complete homework assignments are rewarded through our Class Dojos, and awards at assemblies. Thank you to the families that have been supporting this review and revision at home. If nothing else please ensure your child is reading every night!
